The story of two remarkable women who both married into the Campbell family Sophia Palmer Campbell came to Australia in 1800 she sketched and painted the harbour, barracks and "Australasians" and her daughter in law Marrianne Collinson Close Campbell who settled at Duntroon in 1860.Her sketchbook of plants was broken up and has been here gathered as "Flowers of Duntroon.These were all rediscovered by Hugh Falkus in Scotland being cared for by The Campbell Family.
