Originally a cloth hardcover however now rebound in amateur fashion possibly by a watchmaker. Chipped, slightly torn front end paper, foxed throughout, dog ears. Else a good working copy. This clearly a work that has been used for its contents. Worn to pieces and rebound the text and diagrams are still clearly legible and is an excellent copy if you want a working copy or are interested in its value as a piece of maker folk history.
