Decoupage is a craft that has I think something of a reputation for being a little naff. Like so many makers skills the important thing is not what its connotations are generally but how you deploy it in relation to your own work. I can imagine this skill being used to great effect when used in conjunction with 3d printing, cosplay, and various other types of design and craft.
