(QX24132 M.L.F. MURRAY, 7TH A.G.H, A,I,F), this soldier served in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) during World War II.
The 2/7th AGH was a 1200-bed hospital raised in Victoria in July 1940.
It served overseas for 1600 days in the Middle East (Palestine, Syria, Egypt) and New Guinea.
It provided care to members of the 6th, 7th, and 9th Divisions AIF and SWPA troops.
The unit operated from 1940 until December 1945.
