First Edition. The folding panorama opens to an over 5ft etched continuous strip panorama. Original pictorial upper board with a plain lower board, back strip. The text is printed in Hebrew, Latin, Greek & German. Each of the seven folding sections, [9.5x3.5 inches 23.5 x9 cms], have hand coloured etchings showing Humpty Dumpty sitting on the wall, Falling and All the kings horses and men trying to rescue him, etcetera. A panoramic retelling of the popular nursery rhyme subtly pregnant with political allegory.

This is a spectacular panorama. The sketches are charming and the colour subtle and appealing. All the sections are fresh and clean. There is a little bumping to the corners of the upper board. The panorama is housed in a purpose made solander box.
